The Spy and I has been an incredible journey allowing me to recount and relive over a decade of my life dedicated to loving one of the world's leading operatives.  As Gustare Flaunbet once said "We do not choose our subjects, they choose us."

Sex sells but you stay for love and I take great delight in sharing our unlikely love story with the world and in doing so hope to breathe life into one of my favourite mantras "Show up, tell your truth, give the world goose bumps."

I have a twenty year career as a TV Marketeer winning Webby and Promax awards for leading international studios and media companies including ITV Studios, CBS, ITN, Virgin Media and News International. I've had the pleasure of hosting events with Hollywood legends such as Ted Danson and Danny DeVito and globally marketing world renowned dramas including Poldark at leading TV festivals around the world.

I was thrilled that Meghan Thompson believed in me and my story so passionately and loved co-writing the script for The Spy and I with her.  She is a very talented writer!

My husband used to be Dani’s fiancé. This might not lead some women to a close friendship, but Dani exemplifies the saying ‘to know her is to love her.’  Her warmth and genuine kindness when I moved to the UK led me to fall immediately into the ranks of those who love her.

When first she told me about her ‘spymance’, I knew it would make an amazing film I'd want to see. When Dani suggested I co-write the screenplay, I could not believe my good fortune! It’s an incredible story and any writer would be thrilled for the opportunity to be part of it. But more than that, it means so much to help Dani convey - release - what was such an important epoch in her life.

I spent much of my career, in the US and the UK, in communications, but during lockdown, I followed a dream and taught myself screenwriting. I currently have four other completed scripts, one of which - for a series about the inimitable Eleanor of Aquitaine - is under development.
